There's some more news for everyone which I think is pretty exciting. Alongside my range of jewellery I am now selling a range of fashion accessories, some of these have been uploaded already with the range expanding again soon and more lines being added.

I have also added a small collection of summer scarves which are so large but lightweight making them perfect to wear in a variety of ways ( beach cover ups and vests and can be worn as an oversized styled scarf )

Bad bad blogger

Did I say I was going to keep up with this blog? As you can tell this hasn't really happened yet but that's mainly because I've been busy with big things.

I have started selling my jewellery through a project in my area called Starting Point. This project helps fledgling businesses like my own build their brand and learn all the ins and outs of running a business. This has been an amazing experience so far with a whole new world opening up in front of me.

What else have I been up to? Well I have re- revamped my website (I know, how often can it be changed huh....  ) but it looks much more like the Louise Grace brand.

There's also been a bit more in the way of technique building

I am also launching a monthly newsletter which will be filled with special offers and new designs, you can sign up here.

My girls are now finished up with school for the summer which will give me loads of time to go exploring and find inspiration for new designs, keep watching for another wee update soon.

Stepping out on my own (well kinda)

This week I took yet another big step in my bid to sell more of my jewellery. I now have a website!!

How exciting is that!!...   I'm giving a web shop of my own a trial run to see how it compares to selling on Folksy. Now don't get me wrong, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Folksy, it's a great place for British crafters to sell their amazing items (many of which end up in my home), but I love the idea of running a website alongside this amazing marketplace.

So yeah, www.LouiseGraceJewellery.com is now live and will be tweaked and added to over time.

But that's not all I have been up to, we had snow for the first time in a couple of years in North Lanarkshire. Man it's felt like a lifetime... 

My beautiful girls and I (and the dog) all spent the weekend sledging and generally playing in the snow and having an amazing time.

Jewellery making wise I went back to basics and have been working on a range of jewellery for the summer, how would you like a preview of one of these items?(soon to be added to Folksy and my website (I'm never going to get tired of saying that 'my website'))

This ones a deerskin bracelet with a gorgeous branch charm which I have added little peridot gemstone nuggets to. I love this but I do know deerskin isn't for everyone so I will also have some suede, elasticated and charm style bracelets included in my new items too.

Anyway...  I have waffled on for far too long now, hopefully you wont have to wait too long for my next update.

New year promises

Gosh I really do need to make a point of updating my blog more often. Things have been a little crazy recently with learning yet more new techniques and having a busy spell up to Christmas.
